Love is,
Nursing you
when you were an infant,
Teaching you
to recognize the alphabet,
Listening you
babbling,
And slipping
an umbrella into your bag.
Love is,
Dressing you
a coat when it gets cold,
Cocking a
delicate meal and waiting patiently,
Hugging you
and kissing your cheek,
And saying “goodnight”
before a sweet dream.
Love is,
Playing basketball
together and acclaiming you,
Working a
part-time job to buy a Christmas gift for you,
Reviewing in
the library and helping out each other,
And saying “happy
birthday” to you at 0’clock.
Love is,
Staying with
you whatever happen,
Love is based on who are you but not what do you do.
Everyone is seeking the true love,
Love is
around you.

Your poem is pretty good, apart from some grammar mistakes but overall it's a nice poem. And on your second stanza, I think you meant "cooking" instead of "cocking" which is what you wrote.
ReplyDeleteI love how you described love as something made up of littles details in life. I really liked it, it made me think of my childhood. Great job!
